Mini Podiatric Medical School at Barry University

Center for Community Health and Minority Medicine

320 NW 115th Street, Miami, Florida 33168

The field of Podiatry is not well known among pre-health professional students. To raise awareness of the field and to encourage students to consider a career in podiatry, Dr. Rubin has been offering a Mini Podiatric Medical School at Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.

This is a 4 hour program consisting of 1¼ hours of lecture followed by a 15 minute break with snacks, then 2 hours of hands on experience followed by a 30 minute talk on Podiatric Medical School admissions.  The program concludes with an open question and answer forum where you can directly talk to current BUSPM students.

During this program you will rotate through 10 stations.  Each station is run by a podiatric medical student. All students received a certificate of attendance at the conclusion of the program.

Anyone interested in healthcare will benefit from attending a Mini Podiatric Medical School Program and visiting Barry University.
