Our Mission

Dr. Rubin's Mini Medical School was created in 2005 to help high school students learn if they want to pursue a healthcare career. Over the last several years, Dr. Rubin expanded his reach to college students, and middle school students and plans to eventually provide exposure to elementary school students to the fields of healthcare.  By providing education, hands-on experiences, mentoring and counseling, he hopes to help you decide if a healthcare career is the right for you.

We are still accepting students for our summer Middle School experience program. Enrollment in our High School Program is now closed. Email DrRubin@MiniMedicalSchool.com if you wish to be placed on our waiting list.

WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY

My experience with mini med was amazing and I enjoyed all of it. It was such a unique opportunity to experience what I want to do for the rest of my life.
(HS Class of 2016)

Thank you for speaking with me over the phone yesterday to help me prepare for my MD/PhD interviews. Your advice and the practice interview questions helped me a lot in my preparation. Thank you again for all of your help! I deeply appreciate your support over the last 10 years.
( MS1 at U Chicago MSTP Program).

Words cannot express how greatly I appreciate the support, kindness, and love that both you as well as Mrs. Rubin have graciously extended to me over the years. I would be honored if I could express my appreciation to both of you in person.
 (MS1 At Harvard Med School)

Thank you for the email and all your hard work for us in the program this year. Mini Medical School has opened my eyes to the various and versatile fields of medicine.

I just finished my last Mini med video (12th) and all my questions about the college-medical school process have been answered thoroughly.

My daughter found the Mini Med program and the real-life experience you offered very helpful. She had a keen interest in pursuing Medicine as her field of study in college and attending this program has reinforced this interest.

Thank you once again for taking the time to provide students with an in-depth look into the Medical profession.
Best Regards,
(Mother of Student)

I really appreciate all your preparation. Although it may have seemed to me like a simple suggestion, your advice to really know my resume front and back really paid off at the end of the day. Thank you so much Dr. Rubin for dedicating your time to prep me for the interview. I really feel the 4 hours we spent together made a difference

Yash - a current M.D.-Ph.D student  at Drexel University.
